Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device. Fine needles enter the skin and deliver RF energy, creating controlled heating within the tissue.
Needle depth and treatment settings can be adjusted, subject to the device instructions and the practitioner’s assessment.
Traditional microneedling uses needles without this RF component. Adding energy changes how the procedure acts on tissue and introduces additional considerations, including heat-related risks.
Morpheus8 should not be understood as an ordinary facial or a procedure without recovery needs. Individual responses and recovery vary.
Assessment may include the face, lower face, jawline and neck. Areas around the eyes need particular care and are only considered after an individual anatomical assessment.
The device configuration, skin characteristics and underlying anatomy matter. Not every area or concern is suitable.
Ask whether the clinic offers assessment for the abdomen, upper arms, thighs or buttocks. Facial treatment settings and expectations should not be assumed to apply to the body.

Risks include infection, burns, scarring and changes in pigmentation. Serious complications reported with RF microneedling include unwanted fat loss, disfigurement and nerve injury, sometimes requiring medical or surgical treatment.
These risks should be discussed alongside potential benefits. Contact the clinic promptly about unexpected or worsening symptoms, and seek urgent medical care if symptoms are severe.
